en Vogue Cafe, South Yarra

So we just moved house and due to how close this place is to where we now live and the fact that we have been lazy to cook, we decided to give this place a go. It's relatively new but I have to say they seem to be off to a great start. Needless to say by all the pictures we have been here several times since we moved into the area- for breakfast, lunch, dinner, eat in or take away. Everytime has been a good experience, with good food, friendly service and great prices I would recommend this place for somewhere casual to eat if you are in the area. Oh, and by the way the coffee here is great! Seriously, I am very fussy about coffee and for that reason I usually order tea but this place makes it really well, it's never bitter and is always served hot!

Breakfast:

This place has a variety of things on the menu, muesli, porridge, pancakes, and everything else you would expect for breakfast. The only downside is that they don't serve French Toast. :( I LOVE French toast! I might suggest it to the owner. haha

All the meals we have tried are really good. I have to also say that the Juice here is freshly squeezed which is always nice, and the hash browns are home made and really nice (crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside) and that's coming from someone who doesn't usually eat hash browns.
Scrambled Eggs

Poached Eggs

The Big Breakfast

Pancakes with Berry Compote and Vanilla Ice cream
Ok so can I just say that the pancakes were REALLY good, and on a hot summer morning the vanilla ice cream on the side was a nice surprise!

Dinner/Lunch:

Chicken and Mushoom Risotto

Prosciutto Pizza
So I can also recommend the Capricosa pizza, the seafood risotto and the spaghetti Bolognaise, we got them as take away items and they were also really good.

Oh and they deliver (minimum order $20), they have a takeaway menu but I'm sure if there was something that you wanted that wasn't on there they would probably make it for you.

Enjoy!
